Progress!

Ok so I actually got a few stitches into Fairy Frog Mother. I lost my working chart for this so I had to print up a new one. Figuring out where I have/haven't stitched was a booger. So I finally just decided to work on the corner since I could figure that out pretty easily. I will probably work on Around the World in 80 Stitches next.

Hopefully I'm Back!

Hello Everyone! I have been gone for a while haven't I? My father passed away about 2 years ago and I just completely lost my stitching/crafting inspiration. I also have switched jobs twice since then so I don't have as much time at home as I did before. My last excuse is computer games, World of Warcraft to be specific. lol.

Anyway, My sister had her baby. It was a little girl. I still haven't stitched her a birth record yet but I will. I did make her a quilt which I will be posting a photo of in the next couple of days. So, my sister just told me she's having another baby. It's way too early to know the gender yet but that means 2 birth records need to be stitched in the very near future.

I am hoping to ease my way back into the stitching world. I think I will stitch something small to start with and then maybe get back into my rotation. Around the World in 80 Stitches and Fairy Frog Mother have been calling me so I have a feeling they will be next on the list.

Part 10 is Done

I am all caught up now! Yay! I had to frog this part a few times but I finally got through it. I kept counting wrong for some reason. Too many distractions. 

I tried to get some pics of my chickies but my nephew was "helping" me so none of them would stand still. lol

I found out that my Sis is having a baby girl! The Dr said he was 90% sure that's its a girl. So I will be stitching a birth announcement very soon.  

Part 8 - Check!

I got part 8 of Around the World in 80 Stitches completed. I would get a few stitches in here and there but I insisted that I was going to finish it last night. I had decided to do the beads at the end mostly because I couldn't decide what colors to use. I still have no idea what I'll choose in the end. Lol. So I guess it's on to part 9!

Spring is Here

My chicks got to go outside for the first time. Here they are enjoying the sun.

Here's my Nephew "helping" me feed the chickens. He squatted down and then said "I'm a chicken" and then giggled. Cutie Patootie!

We finally got our tomatoes planted. I'm still waiting for some seeds to arrive in the mail so I can finish planting my garden. 

So far, I haven't put a single stitch into anything since part 7 of Around the World in 80 Stitches. I am hoping to remedy that this weekend. 

My Little Chickies

I took some updated photos of my chicks. They are already getting too big for the box but it's been too cool for them to go outside just yet. They look a little awkward right now but they will be fully feathered and beautiful in no time!
