Another Project Done!

This is "Frogs" by Hinzeit. I'm actually planning on stitching this twice so I used some frog charms from my stash for this one. The next one will have the charms from the kit.

R.I.P. Freckles

We had to take Freckles to the vet today and have him put to sleep. He was starting to be too much in pain and meds were no longer helping him. So we had to say good bye to our "little man" today. We miss him already.

Frog Song

I finally rained today. Not too much but just enough to make the frogs and toads happy. As I sit here and listen to them sing in the pond outside my window, I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes.

Happy Dance!!

It's finally done! This is 25th Anniversary by The Silver Lining. The fabric is Silkweaver's Blue Dynasty Expressions 28 ct. Jazlyn. And yes, I did make a few changes.

25th Anniversary Progress

It's not best picture, lighting-wise, but oh well. This is my latest progress on 25th Anniversary. Those of you who are familiar with this design will note that I have changed the ribbon color. I also decided not to use metallics in the ribbon because I didn't like how the threads were laying when the metallics were added. I still have a little bit of greenery, the tails of the ribbons, the backstitching, and then the wording left. It's going to be a wedding sampler instead of an anniversary sampler. I'm really hoping to finish this by the end of August. We shall see how well I do!
