See? I Have Been Stitching!

This first one is QS Blue Butterfly by HaED. Lots and lots of blue. Lol. I have really been enjoying working on HaEDs lately. I have kitted up about 3 other HaEDs but I'm trying not to start any more for a while. If I do though, it will probably be a Spangler design. I love the rich, bright colors he uses.

And then there is Around the World in 80 Stitches, part 12. I am a little intimidated by part 13 but we shall see how that goes. I still haven't decided what color beads to use.

The close up.......

Ok, I'll pop in another Downton Abbey episode and get back to my stitching now.

Finally Some Pictures!

As promised, here are my progress photos. This is Around the World in 80 Stitches by Papillon Creations, part 11. I'm saving the beads for the end. So yes, it was the new Windows that is causing the problem. Actually, it's the Microsoft Edge that's the real problem. I had to use the old Internet Explorer to actually get these pictures up. Crazy. I have more pictures of more progress that I still need to upload to my computer.

Part 10 is Done

I am all caught up now! Yay! I had to frog this part a few times but I finally got through it. I kept counting wrong for some reason. Too many distractions.

I tried to get some pics of my chickies but my nephew was "helping" me so none of them would stand still. lol

I found out that my Sis is having a baby girl! The Dr said he was 90% sure that's its a girl. So I will be stitching a birth announcement very soon.

Part 8 - Check!

I got part 8 of Around the World in 80 Stitches completed. I would get a few stitches in here and there but I insisted that I was going to finish it last night. I had decided to do the beads at the end mostly because I couldn't decide what colors to use. I still have no idea what I'll choose in the end. Lol. So I guess it's on to part 9!

Part 5 Completed!

Yay! I'm all caught up! I just finished part 5 of "Around the World in 80 Stitches". I have no idea what color beads I'm going to use but since I'm saving those for the end anyway, I've got plenty of time to decide.

Now I have to go bathe the dog. He apparently stuck his nose where it didn't belong last night and got sprayed by a skunk. Lol.

Part 3!

I got part 3 of Around the World in 80 Stitches done! I have to say, I don't usually enjoy lazy daisys but doing them in metallic thread is just pure evil. I did make a little mistake but it all turned out ok and I can live with it. My Sis and her family got their power back so everything is back to semi-normal. I have a whole list of chores I need to get done before I go start on part 4. Let's see how far I can get before I give in and go stitch. ;-) lol.

Part 2 Done!

I got part 2 done! Things have been a little topsy turvy around here. My sister's electricity has blown out at her house so while that's being fixed, she, my bro-in-law, and my cutie nephew have been crashing at my house. It's been quite hectic but kind of fun too.

So....on to part 3!
